Is a PDF an e-invoice?
No. Only the structured XML part is legally binding — Germany's Federal Ministry of Finance has clarified this. A plain PDF won't satisfy the mandate from 2027/2028. traxxed generates ZUGFeRD 2.2, XRechnung and PINT AE from one data model.
I'm a small business (Kleinunternehmer). Does this affect me?
Yes, since 01/01/2025: small businesses must also be able to receive and store e-invoices. traxxed recognizes the §19 small-business rule and issues your documents correctly.
I'm coming from easybill, sevDesk or Lexware. How do I migrate?
We import your master data: customers, items, suppliers. We have 42 migrations behind us. The trial period is enough to test the move with real data.
What if I want to leave again?
Data export is included on every plan: all tables as CSV and JSON plus the full document archive with PDFs and XML. After cancellation you keep 90 days of read access.
Where is my data stored?
Exclusively in the EU, in Frankfurt am Main. Tenant separation at the database level, encryption in transit and at rest, sensitive credentials additionally with AES-256-GCM.
Does traxxed get my bank credentials?
No, never. The bank connection runs via BANKSapi — your credentials never reach traxxed. Alternatively you work entirely without a connection, using SEPA files and CSV statements.
Do I need all the modules?
There are two plans: Starter covers invoicing and incoming payments, Business automatically includes every module. A solo founder starts small; a team of twenty also uses tasks, calendar, mailbox and chat — in the same tool.
Does traxxed work in the Emirates?
Yes. The same e-invoicing mandate applies there from 2027 (PINT AE). traxxed writes bilingual documents in English and Arabic, knows the TRN — and the interface is fully available in Arabic.
How do I cancel if I no longer have access to traxxed?
Normally you manage your subscription right inside traxxed under Billing → Manage payments — two clicks. If you can no longer get into your account, say because the person who set it up has left, you can manage your subscription directly with our payment provider: enter the email address used for booking and you will receive a login link by mail.
